Some People Just Don’t Get It

It never ceases to amaze me how few real answers we get from people in power – specifically politicians.  Really, isn’t government us to begin with?  Shouldn’t we be mindful of how we can help each other?  The recent slip-o-the-lip by Representative Pence differentiating between “Republican” people and “American” people really hits home in this regard. While the rest of us are suffering through this recession we didn’t create, by doing nothing more than our jobs and living by the law of the land, these “Americans” are running around like kids with ADHD and not addressing the problem and working on our behalf to create what we need for this country’s recovery –

JOBS.

I don’t care who you are, how much schooling you’ve had (or not had,) where you come from, or how much you have (or don’t have,) if you can’t see the problem we’re all facing you are just plain blind. And, say you do see the problem…GOOD JOB! Now you have to work on behalf of your constituency to address the solution to the problem – right. Like that’s going to happen any time soon. Not when you have the political environment in D.C. that undermines any sort of humanity in the way government responds to its citizens – certainly not while the other nitwits are running around screaming about everything but what is needed to address the issue. If we had this kind of leadership in 1941, we’d have attacked Mexico for the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Sort of makes me wonder what language they are speaking in D.C.  They certainly aren’t comprehending what’s being spoken in the other 49 states.

Makes you wonder…
